As comedian Michelle Wolf blasted White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and others in attendance at the White House Correspondents' dinner on Saturday, President Donald Trump was talking at a rally in Michigan about North Korea when the audience chanted, “Nobel! Nobel!”

After praising Chinese President Xi Jinping with regard to last week's meeting between North Korea and South Korea, and expressing optimism regarding upcoming talks between him and North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, Trump said, “I'm not going to give you what's actually going to happen because we don't really know.”

“But I'll tell you one thing,” the president continued, “we're not playing games.”

As Trump was about to recall the previous months of applying pressure on North Korea, which included nicknaming its leader “Rocket Man,” a few audience members broke into the chant for the president to receive the Nobel Peace Prize.

“That's very nice, thank you. That's very nice. Nobel,” Trump said.

Meanwhile, back in Washington, Wolf blasted attendees at the annual dinner for White House journalists.

“I actually really like Sarah. I think she’s very resourceful,” Wolf said as Sanders sat nearby on the dais. "She burns facts and then she uses that ash to create a perfect smoky eye. Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's lies. It's probably lies.

“I'm never really sure what to call Sarah Huckabee Sanders,” the comedian added. “Is it Sarah Sanders? Is it Sarah Huckabee Sanders? Is it Cousin Huckabee? Is it Auntie Huckabee Sanders? Like, what's Uncle Tom but for white women who disappoint other white women?”

Wolf's words fueled the fire of Trump supporters' disdain for the mainstream press, and the contrast between the two events shows the difference between the president and those inside the political bubble.
