Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) thinks it's “ridiculous” ailing Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) doesn't want President Donald Trump at his funeral.

The Arizona senator wants Vice President Mike Pence to be in attendance instead of Trump, who has mocked McCain for being a prisoner of war and has attacked him over his opposition to the repeal of Obamacare.
Despite the friction between the two men, Hatch thinks it's silly for McCain to wish Trump wouldn't come to his funeral, according to Politico.
“I think it's ridiculous," Hatch said. "Well, he's the president of the United States, and he's a very good man. But it's up to [McCain]. I think John should have his own wishes fulfilled with regard to who attends the funeral.”
As it stands right now, McCain, who has brain cancer, reportedly wants former Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama to deliver eulogies. His funeral will be held in the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C.
