With Parkland activist David Hogg successfully pressuring Florida-based grocery chain Publix to stop all political contributions for both liberal and conservative causes, on Monday he has expressed desire to conduct another “die-in” protest.

Hogg suggested the location for the next “die-in” to be at Trump Hotel:

People began to volunteer to plan the protest if it happened to be the Trump Hotel located in Washington, D.C.:

Hogg planned the first “die-ins” at Publix after it was revealed the company supported Florida Republican gubernatorial candidate Adam Putnam, who is a proud National Rifle Association supporter.

At the Coral Springs location, where most of the Parkland activists were, shouting erupted between protesters and customers:

On the day the protests were held inside their locations, Publix released a statement announcing their decision to halt their political contribution.

“At the same time, we remain committed to maintaining a welcoming shopping environment for our customers. We would never knowingly disappoint our customers or the communities we serve. As a result, we decided earlier this week to suspend corporate-funded political contributions as we reevaluate our giving processes,” Publix said.
