In a now-deleted tweet posted on Tuesday, Occupy Wall Street posted disturbing directions for migrants encountering Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents who are trying to “take” their children.
The post, entitled “What To Do If You Encounter An ICE Agent,” showed an immigrant stabbing an agent and pulling out his heart as a threat to other agents:

“Hold his bloody heart out for all other agents to see, and tell them that the same fate awaits them if they f**k with your child again,” the final step in the post read.
The account @OccupyWallStNYC appeared to delete that tweet and indicated it might have been satirical:

The post featured a Google search for the word “satire” and included different definitions.
But the post was enough to provoke backlash on Twitter:
Shocked that you all are calling for the murder of a federal employee. Who am I kidding, this is the norm for you asshats

I reported it. @jack probably won't have a problem with it though. Especially since he so stupidly ate a Chik-filA sandwich. He'll be eager to prove his loyalty to the Borg hive.

Occupy Wall Street's tweet came as the nation grappled with a crisis at the border where authorities separated immigrant families if they entered the United States illegally.
The administration portrayed the situation as an unfortunate consequence of immigration law rather than stemming from a policy it initiated:
Homeland Security @SecNielsen did a fabulous job yesterday at the press conference explaining security at the border and for our country, while at the same time recommending changes to obsolete & nasty laws, which force family separation. We want “heart” and security in America!

We must always arrest people coming into our Country illegally. Of the 12,000 children, 10,000 are being sent by their parents on a very dangerous trip, and only 2000 are with their parents, many of whom have tried to enter our Country illegally on numerous occasions.
