Former White House aide Omarosa Manigault-Newman is under fire by the White House over her anti-Trump book.
White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said in a statement that Manigault-Newman's new book, which questions President Donald Trump's mental state, is full of “lies,” Fox News reported.
“Instead of telling the truth about all the good President Trump and his administration are doing to make America safe and prosperous, this book is riddled with lies and false accusations,” Sanders said.
“It’s sad that a disgruntled former White House employee is trying to profit off these false attacks, and even worse that the media would now give her a platform, after not taking her seriously when she had only positive things to say about the president during her time in the administration,” Sanders added.
“Many didn’t notice it as keenly as I did because I knew him way back when. They thought Trump was being Trump, off the cuff. But I knew something wasn’t right,” Manigault-Newman writes in her ”Unhinged" book, as previously reported by IJR.
“Donald Trump was indeed a racist, a bigot and a misogynist,” Manigault-Newman writes in her book, according to The Guardian.
She also claimed Trump used racial slurs toward the husband of White House adviser Kellyanne Conway, George Conway.
The allegation is not credible, and indeed is ridiculous, particularly in light of the timing of her departure from the White House—December 12, 2017. It’s absurd all around.

“It had finally sunk in that the person I’d thought I’d known so well for so long was actually a racist,“ Manigault-Newman writes. ”Using the N-word was not just the way he talks but, more disturbing, it was how he thought of me and African Americans as a whole.”
If Omarosa heard Trump use the n-word repeatedly during her time on the Apprentice, and believed him to be racist, why didn’t she say this during the campaign and why did she agree to work with him at the White House?

The former aide also used the show “Big Brother” to promote her tell-all book.
