Omarosa Manigault Newman, the Trump aide-turned-White House villain who is currently holding the news cycle hostage, is back with another outrageous claim excerpted from her new book, “Unhinged: An Insider's Account of the Trump White House.”

This time, she's claiming that President Donald Trump may have first lady Melania Trump's citizenship revoked if she does anything drastic.

“Since Donald is fully aware of however she acquired her permanent citizenship, he could, if there were anything fishy around it, expose the methods and somehow invalidate it,” Manigault Newman wrote, according to The Mercury News. “He is a vindictive man, and I would not put anything past him.”

Manigault Newman speculated that Melania Trump “is counting every minute until he is out of office and she can divorce him” and that if she was to leave him while he was still occupying the Oval Office, “he would find a way to punish her.”

Melania Trump earned her green card in 2001, under the so-called “Einstein visa” program. The visa is generally reserved for people of “extraordinary ability.” At the time, Melania Trump was a model.

But when The Washington Post asked visa and immigration experts about her visa, all of them were puzzled at how she was able to land the highly comptetive visa. The Post reported that during the year Melania Trump received her green card, over 1 million green cards were issued but that only 3,376 of those were granted to immigrants on the “Einstein visa.”

Melania Trump's parents have since become citizens through the “chain migration” process, which President Trump has harshly criticized in the past. And her relationship with Donald Trump can look extremely fraught if viewed through a certain microscope — sometimes we don't see the first lady for weeks at a time, and it's well-documented that she and Donald Trump sleep in separate bedrooms.

As for Manigault Newman, we can probably expect her to continue to be a regular topic of conversation on the airwaves for a while. Like her former boss, she has a talent for commanding the attention of the media, and the tapes she's released at seemingly strategic intervals have only served to amplify her voice at the cost of the White House.
