Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump will face off at Hofstra University at 9:00 p.m. EST tonight.
One hundred million people are expected to watch the two candidates debate.
But for now, Americans are talking about a ‘warning sign’ that was posted near the venue where the debate is supposed to happen.

The sign reads:
“The event conducted just beyond this sign may contain triggering and/or sensitive material. Sexual violence, sexual assault, and abuse are some of the topics mentioned within this event. If you feel triggered, please know there are resources to support you.”
Reactions to the sign have been mixed:
Weak minded fools protecting other weak minded deluded fools by emphasizing that their 'feelings' override facts & reality

Our country is falling apart. There is a trigger warning sign outside the debate. Wow. This country has gone soft. pic.twitter.com/N7vALbiNF1

If you need a trigger warning to warn you about something upsetting you… you're never gonna survive in this world. Sorry, but it's true.

However, it just so happens that the ‘trigger warning’ sign isn’t for the Trump/Hillary showdown at all. BuzzFeed’s Deputy Politics Editor Kyle Blaine reported that, “Hofstra put the sign there for “MTV’s Elect This campaign, not for the debate.”
