One year ago, Singer Joy Villa made headlines when she smashed the Hollywood narrative and wore a stunning “Make America Great Again” dress in support of President Donald Trump. She showed up to the red carpet wearing a white cover-up and then pulled it off, becoming the talk of the entire event.
Villa received plenty of pushback regarding her outfit, but that didn’t stop her from standing up for her beliefs. She showed up to the Grammys one year later on Sunday evening, just days after the March for Life, wearing a white dress with a hand-painted picture of a fetus that she worked on herself. She also carried a bag with her that said “choose life.”
She told Fox News, “I’m a pro-life woman. This year, I chose to make a statement on the red carpet like I always do. I’m all about life.” She then said, “I love what [Trump] is doing; unemployment is down. I am totally for President Trump, and it’s only been one year. I can’t wait for the next seven years!”
She certainly isn’t afraid to stand up to Hollywood, as she said, “There’s a lot of hypocrisy we see from celebrities.”
