On Saturday, actor Alec Baldwin reprised his role as President Donald Trump on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” and the cold open seized the opportunity to take digs at the real-life president for his policies regarding immigration, tariffs, Russia and his opinions on the presidency
Set as an international press conference with the Baltic states, Baldwin as Trump joked that he put in place tariffs for Chinese finger traps and expelled “the infamous Chinese billionaire P.F. Chang.”
After reading the prepared remarks, he turned the topic to Russia and said no one’s been tougher on Russia, “including Hitler.”

After the faux press conference, “Trump” agreed to take questions from the press and along with the topic of Stormy Daniels and Amazon, one reporter asked if the president believed his tariffs would ruin the American economy.
“No, I’m not worried at all,” “Trump” answered. “I’m the only one who’s willing to say this, ‘I don’t care about America.'”
He added that the presidency was just a “four-year cash grab” and repeated that he doesn’t care about Americans.
Earlier in the press conference, SNL gave viewers a glimpse inside the faux president’s brain, which was focused on his love for the show “Roseanne” and its namesake actress who he called a “good Rosie O’Donnell.”
