Another Hollywood Star Is Facing Sexual Assault Allegations — This Time It’s Rape

Four women have accused “That ’70s Show” star Danny Masterson of raping them — and there’s apparently “overwhelming” evidence to back up their allegations — but the Los Angeles Police Department’s investigation into him has stalled.

All the allegations facing Masterson, who now stars in Netflix’s “The Ranch” alongside Ashton Kutcher, date back to the early 2000s, according to HuffPost.

Unnamed sources at the LAPD told HuffPost they have “compelling” evidence that Masterson, a Scientologist, raped at least four women:

The evidence includes audiotapes, emails sent to and from Scientology officers at the time the alleged rapes happened, forensic computer evidence and a threatening handwritten letter Masterson sent to one of the alleged victims, according to two people with knowledge of the evidence in the district attorney’s possession.

The Church of Scientology, HuffPost noted, has a history of fighting down claims against the church and its members. In fact, at least three of the women were also Scientologists and, at the time, reported the incidents to the church.

Masterson has denied all the allegations against him but has retained attorney Thomas Mesereau, who also represents disgraced actor Bill Cosby, as his criminal defense lawyer.

These allegations are resurfacing in the wake of the dozens of sexual harassment, assault, and rape accusations facing embattled film producer Harvey Weinstein.

The latest men facing allegations of sexual misconduct include “House of Cards” star Kevin Spacey and Hollywood elite Dustin Hoffman.
