Anti-gun violence activists are sending their “thoughts and prayers” to the National Rifle Association after it was reported Wednesday that they would be shutting down production of NRATV and that their on-air personalities, such as Dana Loesch, would no longer represent the gun lobbying group.

“Good riddance to this vile, disgusting, lying, gun selling bunch who are part of the culture that lead to 40,000 gun deaths per year, including my daughter Jaime,” Fred Guttenberg tweeted Wednesday. Guttenberg’s 14-year-old daughter was killed in the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Highschool shooting in Parkland, Florida last year.

NRATV’s most famous face, Dana Loesch, has targeted Guttenberg as well as other anti-gun violence activists in her tenure at the gun lobbying group. Shannon Watts, founder of Moms Demand Action, a common target of NRATV, celebrated the news and said that the NRA “is weaker than it’s ever been.”

“We won’t miss you Dana Loesch. Or Colion Noir. Or Grant Stinchfield,” she tweeted Wednesday. “We’ve thrown your hate and propaganda and misinformation into the ash heap of history.”

Watts shared an NRATV clip of Loesch saying, “I also have a major problem with all of these tragedy dry-humping whores.”

Leaders of March for Our Lives, the anti-gun violence group that founded by Parkland shooting survivors, couldn’t help but laugh at the news. “Thoughts and prayers,” activist David Hogg tweeted.

In the midst of the jokes, Guttenberg offered up a “reality check” and examined the power the gun lobbying group continues to have.

“The NRA still exists, and there are many groups worse then them who still exist,” he wrote on Twitter. “I am pleased at the current situation at the NRA, however, we must not stop, we must continue to fight.”

I wonder if the anti-gun lobby would ‘fight’ if we were invaded by armed forces or if the government itself truly tried to seize complete control. What would they fight with if they did resist? Baseball bats?

Fred I’m very sorry about your daughter. But please let’s put the blame were it really belongs. The person with the gun. Should we blame car company’s for people who are killed or companies that make alcohol products. I know everyone is going to think how heartless I’m, but if his daughter was kill by a drunk driver would you be blaming the car companies or the alcohol companies? No you be blaming the driver of the car.
