The man caught on video shoving a Turning Point USA reporter in a seemingly-coordinated attack at an anti-ICE protest this month claims to be so shocked by the reactions that he’s considering leaving the country.

Chris Ostroushko was caught in videos from onlookers both participating in and seemingly planning the April 10 incident in advance with his daughter, Paige Ostroushko. The pair teamed up in an attack that involved hitting and shoving Savanah Hernandez as she filmed left-wing protesters opposed to operations by United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Minneapolis.

Hernandez shared a clip Monday from a One America News interview in which Ostroushko insisted that he and his family are the real victims in the situation, saying they have experienced “nonstop” harassment since the clips went viral.

“I don’t know if you guys are getting the same type of stuff that we’re getting, and it’s nonstop, it’s hundreds of phone calls a day, it’s text messages, and trying to get into all of our social media accounts and contacting our friends, our neighbors, our family, the rest of our family is getting doxed as well,” Ostroushko claimed in the clip posted by Hernandez Monday.

UPDATE: Chris Ostroushko says that the backlash his family has been receiving for their actions last weekend has been “overwhelming” and “nonstop”

He’s now “second guessing” living in the United States, because he’s unhappy with how negatively the public has reacted to him… pic.twitter.com/NaPH5UvkiG

“It’s not just us, it’s, it’s my sons, their wives, like people had nothing to do with anything,” he said of the reactions to the attack. “It’s, it’s, a little overwhelming, and, and, and makes me second guess even living in this country, to be honest with you, with all that’s going on. I’ve never had this happen in my life.”

Hernandez first shared video of the attack in an April 12, and on the 13th shared a second video in which Ostroushko is seen directing his daughter, a University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point soccer player, to retrieve a whistle from their car and to blow it “right in her fucking ear.” Video of the incident shows Hernandez holding up a hand, placing it between her and Paige, who appears to be aggressivle invading Hernandez’s personal space as she blows the whistle in her ear.

Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet K. Dhillon indicated in an April 12 post that the federal government was looking into the incident, which left Hernandez with a concussion.

“Chris and Deyanna have been going on a press tour continuing to assert that they are the real victims, despite millions watching the footage of them instigating everything,” Hernandez posted.

“Paige Ostroushko has also been bragging about how she’s free and hasn’t been arrested,” Hernandez added in a follow-up post. “As of now the Hennepin County DA’s office has made zero statement regarding whether or not they will be charging this family and the FBI and DHS investigation into this family is still ongoing. As of now no charges have been filed against any of them and they are all still walking free.”

Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty charged an ICE agent with assault over an incident during Operation Metro Surge, and reportedly is planning to file charges in the fatal shootings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti.
