Fox Newsâ Peter Doocy is suggesting the âtrendsâ in the 2024 election could be changing.
On Wednesday, Doocy mentioned a Quinnipiac poll that found President Joe Biden leading former President Donald Trump.
He reported, âThe trends here may be changing because President Trump, former President Trump, has been leading national poll after national poll over President Biden for the last couple of weeks, but not in this one.â
âAnd maybe itâs an outlier. Maybe itâs not,â he said, noting, âQuinnipiac has Biden up on Trump six points, 50-44.â
Doocy also noted the poll found independent candidates would likely hurt the former president more than Biden.

Foxâs Ainsley Earhardt then asked, âThatâs an outlier, though, right? Because eight other polls show the opposite.â
âIt could be an outlier or that could be the start of a new trend. We donât know,â Doocy responded.
The poll comes as RealClearPoliticsâ average of polls shows Trump leading Biden by 1.7 points, as of Thursday morning.
Meanwhile, a Bloomberg News/Morning Consult poll found Biden trailing the former president in Arizona, Nevada, Georgia, Wisconsin, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania,
Biden won all of those states except North Carolina in the 2020 election.
