Jillian Michaels isnât just known for having starred on the âBiggest Loserâ Weight loss show, she is also a fitness guru who is speaking out against Weight loss drugs like Ozempic.
According to Fox News, she recently noted, âIf it was the easy way out, I would recommend it.â
But she also issued a warning, âEvery medication, whether itâs antibiotics or vaccines, have a cost-benefit analysis. They all have side effects.â
âSo, when we look at Ozempic and all of those drugs there are many side effects from extremely nefarious to just absolutely sâty, no pun intended,â she added.
Current side effects linked to the popular drug include pancreatitis, kidney failure and gallbladder problems.
Michaels also described, âWeâre starting to hear about âOzempic face,â which is accelerated facial aging, hair loss.â
In addition to these concerning factors, she also explained, âYou can never get off these drugs.â
âIf you do get off of them, all of the meta-analysis shows us that you will gain all the weight back, and then some, two-thirds of it within the first year,â she continued.
Furthermore, Ozempic seems to only work for a limited time. She said, âYou will plateau on Ozemipc. It will stop working right around the 18-month to two-year mark.â
âItâs going to stop working,â she declared.
Then she asked, âNow what are you going to do? Because now youâre literally beholden to it. Itâs expensive. Insurance isnât going to cover it forever. Are you going to be on it forever?â
Ozempic was originally approved by the FDA to treat Type-2 diabetes, not function as a Weight loss drug.
Michaels continues to advocate for healthy lifestyle changes that prove there are no cutting corners when seeking good health.

She said, âIâm going to tell you that if you can find a way to eat less food without these drugs, you will lose weight, and will be nothing but upside.â
âInstead of all the negative side effects, you will have a list of positive side effects from improved cognitive function, improved heart health, improved hormone balance and on and on and on,â she concluded.
