Hunter Biden revealed last week the U.S. Attorneyâs Office in Delaware is investigating his âtax affairs,â as IJR previously reported.
âI take this matter very seriously, but I am confident that a professional and objective review of these matters will demonstrate that I handled my affairs legally and appropriately, including with the benefit of professional tax advisors,â he said.
President Donald Trump is calling for a special counsel to be appointed to advance the investigation.
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) weighed in on the matter.
âIf you believe a special counsel was needed to look at the Trumpworld regarding Russia, how can you say that thereâs no need for a special counsel regarding Hunter Biden?â Graham told reporters Wednesday.
He continued, âIâm absolutely calling on a special counsel to look at all things Hunter Biden.â

âInteresting pre-election and post-election coverage too on the Hunter Biden scandal, which was not covered at all by many outlets and the lead up to the election,â McEnany said during her press briefing Tuesday.
She went on, âIn fact, on Oct. 15 you had a New York Times headline that said, âTrump said to be warned that he was being given Russian disinformation over Hunter Biden.â Now, Dec. 10, just a few months later, New York Times headline, âInvestigation of Hunter Biden is likely to hang over Biden as he takes office.'â
