It is probably safe to say this will not go down as a hole in one in the Golf annals, but it was quite a sight nonetheless.
A largemouth bass lived up to its name by swallowing a Golf ball hit by LIV golfer Charl Schwartzel during LIV Golf New York at Trump National Golf Club Bedminster over the weekend.
Schwartzel hit his tee shot on the 134-yard, par-3 seventh hole which landed on the green before spinning backward and into the water.
The instant Schwartzel's ball hit the pond the fish cape out of the water and gobbled it up.

Largemouth bass are ambush predators and eat anything from fish, crayfish and frogs. They'll also take live baits including lizards, insects and even small mice when given the opportunity.
And now, apparently, Golf balls.
Schwartzel, the 2011 Masters champion and winner of the first-ever LIV Golf event in 2022, was competing at Bedminster asAug. 6-9.
According to the rules generally, there is no penalty when an outside influence ā including an animal ā moves a ball at rest. The ball is ordinarily replaced.
However, Schwartzel's ball had already entered the penalty area, so he ultimately took relief and a one-stroke penalty.
He made a one-over-par bogey on the hole.
