William Shakespeare wrote, āSomething is rotten in the state of Denmark.ā It turns out something smelled rotten at the wedding of Meghan Markle to Prince Harry in England.
Thatās according to her former āSuitsā co-star, Rick Hoffman, who appeared on the āChicks in the Officeā podcast, Fox News reported.
Hoffman said there was āsomething really terrible and foulā in the air that day.
Unfortunately, he did not have a poker face.
āIf you type in my name in on Google you see my face making that awful face,ā he joked.
As he took his seat, he noted there was āstill airā and āas time goes on, Iām starting to smell something really terrible and foul.ā
The wedding took place May 19, 2018 in St Georgeās Chapel at Windsor Castle.
Hoffman said it was possible the culprit was someone with bad breath. However, that was quickly dispelled.
āSomebody has terrible breath, but it was more than one person. And it was getting over here,ā he said.
āHoffman went to his āSuitsā castmates, recalling, āI donāt want them to think itās me because Iām so particular when it comes to hygiene. So Iām like, āDo you guys smell that?ā And theyāre like, āNo.ā So now Iām, like, literally by myself, alone on an island, and Iām just going, āMotherā¦ā And thatās (the face) they got (on camera),ā Fox News reported.
āGuess who knew that the most in the cast that I had an issue with other peopleās hygiene? Meghan! Always knew and would always laugh about how I was so sensitive,ā he said, according to Fox News.
Regardless of the unidentified odor, Hoffman enjoyed the event, calling it āincredibly special.ā
