President Donald Trump boasted about his prowess on the Golf course as he claimed a senior club championship.
The president claimed to have beaten the other golfers at his Bedminster, New Jersey, Golf club Saturday.
Trump took to Truth Social Sunday to post a video if the “the winning shot.”
“The Winning Shot in the Bedminster Club Championship!” Trump wrote. “Thank you very much to all of those who participated. I won with a score of 70, and am so honored in that, unlike the rest of the field, I’m given very little time to practice, because I’m focused on many other things.
“It’s called TALENT, and I have it, and they don’t!”
And this was not Trump’s first championship.
In 2023, the president scored a 5-under-par 67 — three strokes better than the 2-under 70 he claimed on Saturday.
Last December, he claimed to have won at least 38.
“I’ve won 38 Golf championships and I don’t get to practice very much,” Trump said. “I beat a 27-year-old kid. I’ve won 38 of them, every one of them legitimately. It has to be legitimate because you have a lot of people following you with club championships.”
Many have speculated Trump’s golfing ability may be exagerated.
“He cheats like a mafia accountant,” said sportswriter Rick Reilly, who wrote a book about Trump’s Golf game.
“He cheats crazy. He cheats whether you’re watching or not. He cheats whether you like it or not,” he told CNN in 2019.
