At one time, former Fox News host Tucker Carlson was a staunch supporter of President Donald Trump.
Now, he is apologizing for doing so.
Tucker spoke with his brother, Buckley Carlson, who previously wrote speeches for Trump, on āThe Tucker Carlson Showā Monday.
āYou wrote speeches for him, I campaigned for him. I mean, weāre implicated in this, for sure,ā Tucker Carlson said to his brother. āItās not enough to say, āWell I changed my mind,ā or like, āOh this is bad, Iām out.ā Itās like in very small ways, but in real ways, you and me and millions of people like us are the reason this is happening right now.ā
āYes,ā Buckley replied.
āSo I do think itās like a moment to wrestle with our own consciences. You know, weāll be tormented by it for a long time,ā Tucker Carlson continued. āI will be, and I want to say Iām sorry for misleading people, and it was not intentional. Thatās all Iāll say.ā
