Biden Claims Trump Is ‘Running to Stay out of Jail,’ Says He Wants to ‘Watch That Sentence’

WASHINGTON, DC - OCTOBER 11: U.S. President Joe Biden gives an update on the government's response to Hurricanes Milton and Helene in the Roosevelt Room of the White House on October 11, 2024 in Washington, DC. Biden also touched on the the wave of online misinformation that has muddled the public's understanding after two strong storms have impacted the south east of the country. President Joe Biden traveled to the “City of Brotherly Love” to eviscerate former President Donald Trump by calling him a “loser” and a “failed businessman.”

The vicious takedown took place Tuesday night at the Philadelphia City Committee dinner.

Mediaite reported Biden started his speech by defending his own administration and what it has done since 2021.

“More people are working today in America than any time since Trump left office; that’s just a fact. 401Ks are strong, violent crime is down, murder is down, and fewer people are crossing the border, and Trump calls that a hellscape? He talks about America being a failed nation; where the hell’s he from?”

Biden’s view of America is vastly different.

“It makes me angry. I say America’s winning; we’re the most powerful nation in the world, the most respected nation in the world… Trump says we’re losers, but the only loser I know is Donald Trump.”

And Biden said Trump is a loser on another level — business.

Biden pointed to Trump’s failure with his Atlantic City casino.

“We all know Trump is a failed businessman,” Biden said. “How is that possible? I thought the house always won. Pretty hard to do.”

Biden also harshly proclaimed Trump is a “loser in everything he does… the only loser I know.”

The president turned to Trump’s conviction of 34 felony counts of falsifying business records.

“I want to watch that sentence,” Biden said. “I think he’s running to stay out of jail.”

Biden also made the sign of the cross as he recalled Trump’s pledge to be a “great protector of women.”

no fucks Biden: "This is from the same guy who calls himself a great protector of women. *makes sign of the cross* C'mon. Folks, look. This is the same guy who has been held liable for $83m for sexual abuse and defamation. Same guy who who is getting rid of Roe v Wade … I think… pic.twitter.com/wSvX8s3MOu

But Biden didn’t just criticize Trump. He also heaped praise on his own vice president, Kamala Harris, and Trump’s foe in the upcoming election.

“She beat Trump so badly in the debate he’s scared to death to meet her again. That’s a fact,” Biden said. “Tough guy, right? Tough guy. Because he knows he’d lose again. That’s a fact. He is a loser.”

He ended with America needs to look to the future, not the past.

“Folks, this is 2024, we’re not going back,” Biden said.
