Former Vice President Joe Biden pushed back on allegations that there was anything inappropriate about his son, Hunter Biden, serving on the board of Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings during an interview with Axios’ Mike Allen.
Allen asked Biden about his knowledge of his son’s duties on Burima’s board, “What’s your understanding of what your son was doing for an extraordinary amount of money?”
Biden said he did not know what his son’s duties were at Burisma, and that he was unaware of his son’s position until after he was named to the board.
“I don’t know what he was doing. I know he was on the board. I found out he was on the board after he was on the board, and that was it.”

When Allen pressed Biden on why he hasn’t investigated his son’s position on Burisma’s board, Biden said he didn’t look into whether there was any impropriety because “I trust my son.”
But when Allen pressed him on whether he should’ve looked in the situation more, Biden became aggravated and blasted the media for talking about his son’s position on the board.
“There’s nothing on its face that was wrong. Look, if you want to talk about problems – you know – let’s talk about Trump’s family. I mean, come on … You guys are amazing.”
Biden indicated that’s he’s tired of getting questions about Ukraine, “You know there’s not one single bit of evidence, not one little tiny bit, to say that anything done was wrong. You know that, but you keep asking me these questions. But it’s okay. You’re doing what you have to do. But I’m not worried about it. ”
