According to a report from the Washington Examiner, Biden worked with the whistleblower while serving as vice president under President Barack Obama.
It was already known by members of Congress that the whistleblower — who has remained anonymous since filing the report — had professional ties to one of the Democratic presidential candidates, but Inspector General Michael Atkinson did not reveal which of the 2020 candidates the whistleblower knew. This laid the foundation for Atkinson’s argument that the whistleblower had “some indicia of an arguable political bias … in favor of a rival political candidate.”
The Washington Examiner reported that a retired CIA officer confirmed that the whistleblower worked for Biden during the Obama administration, telling the Examiner, “From everything we know about the whistleblower and his work in the executive branch then, there is absolutely no doubt he would have been working with Biden when he was vice president.”
President Donald Trump has long been suspicious of the whistleblower’s motives, given reports that he met with Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) prior to writing the report and hired a top Democratic lawyer to represent him throughout the process.
…..The Whistleblower’s lawyer is a big Democrat. The Whistleblower has ties to one of my DEMOCRAT OPPONENTS. Why does the ICIG allow this scam to continue?

Although there may be evidence that the whistleblower had a relationship with Trump, that does not guarantee that the whistleblower acted out of political animus. Many of the details from the whistleblower’s report were confirmed when the White House released the transcript of the phone call between the president and Ukrainian leaders.
The whistleblower set off a chain reaction that ultimately resulted in an impeachment inquiry into President Trump after it was alleged that the president blocked military aid to Ukraine in return for dirt on Biden and his son Hunter Biden’s business dealings in the region.
