Last week was a very bad week for Billy Bush.
First, he got caught on tape laughing with Donald Trump about groping women.
Then he got suspended from his relatively new gig on the “Today Show.”
Then he got lit up on social media.

He’s officially out of a job.
A statement delivered by Noah Oppenheim, an NBC News senior VP who oversees “Today,” read:
“Billy Bush will be leaving the Today show’s 9 a.m. hour, effective today.
While he was a new member of the ‘Today’ team, he was a valued colleague and longtime member of the broader NBC family. We wish him success as he goes forward.”
Billy Bush responded with a short, vague statement. He was quick to reference his daughters:
“I am deeply grateful for the conversations I’ve had with my daughters, and for all of the support from family, friends and colleagues.
I look forward to what lies ahead.”
Of course, no one really knows what lies ahead. And Billy hasn’t mentioned any concrete plans.
He did, however, announce that he plans to donate his entire $10 million severance from NBC to various women’s groups.
In other news, Melania Trump is maintaining that Billy Bush “egged on” her husband and essentially peer pressured him into engaging in “boy talk.”
You can’t make this stuff up.
