Boebert Lambasted for Attending Trump Trial, Skipping Son’s Court Date

NEW YORK, NEW YORK - MAY 16: Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) arrives alongside other House Republicans at a press conference at Collect Pond Park outside of Manhattan Criminal Court during former U.S. President Donald Trump's hush money trial on May 16, 2024 in New York City. Michael Cohen, former U.S. President Donald Trump's former attorney, is taking the stand again today to continue his cross examination by the defense in the former president's hush money trial. Cohen's $130,000 payment to Stormy Daniels is tied to Trump's 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in the first of his criminal cases to go to trial. (Photo by Michael M. Rep. Lauren Boebert’s (R-Colo.) is in the crosshairs of those who noticed she attended former President Donald Trump’s trial on Thursday, but did not go to her son’s court date earlier this month.

Boebert not only showed up, she’s been posting her support of Trump on X, formerly Twitter.

“They may have gagged President Trump. They didn’t gag me. They didn’t gag the rest of us.”

They may have gagged President Trump.

They didn’t gag me.

They didn’t gag the rest of us.

Why is that fraud Michael Cohen allowed on TikTok with a shirt of Trump behind bars but Trump can’t speak out?

However, people soon took to X to remark on which court date she attended, per the HuffPost.

Her son, Tyler Boebert, was charged with four felony counts of criminal possession of ID documents, one felony count of conspiracy to commit a felony and 15 misdemeanor and petty offenses in February.

His charges were in connection with vehicle trespasses and property thefts that occurred in Rifle, Colorado.

In his May 9 court appearance, the teen told the judge he still does not have an attorney.

“We are working to hire an attorney, but it’s just been kind of hard with the prices, but we are working on it,” Tyler Boebert said, according to Business Insider.

If you want to know @laurenboebert’s true values just understand she took a work day to travel to New York to attend Trump’s criminal trial. She has not attended any of her own son’s hearings or even paid for his attorney. She needs to be a private citizen.

As Matt Gaetz and Lauren Boebert travel to New York City to attend Trump’s trial, here’s a reminder, that Boebert’s teenage son Tyler Boebert was in court 7 days ago, without his mother and without a lawyer (he said he was having trouble paying for one).

The level of hypocrisy with Trump’s cult is their currency. The fact that .@laurenboebert chooses Trump over her son, earned her about 100 Trump bucks.

the whole "leaving her son out to dry" thing is really despicable.
