Protesters calling to abolish Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) are negatively impacting the morale of the new Customs and Border Protection (CBP) chief’s team.
In an interview with “rising” CBP chief, Carla Provost, told The Hill, “It certainly impacts the morale of my men and women. I think just that the negative climate on the work that they’re doing.”
“We have amazing people on the Border Patrol, and they are out risking their lives every day to protect this nation, and I’m extremely proud of the work that they do, but it’s a difficult time, I think, with what they see in the media,” Provost said.
Protests to “abolish ICE” occurred as those opposed President Donald Trump’s “zero tolerance” policy.
The Democrats have a death wish, in more ways than one – they actually want to abolish ICE. This should cost them heavily in the Midterms. Yesterday, the Republicans overwhelmingly passed a bill supporting ICE!

“ICE is a critical component. CBP — Border Patrol — we work very closely, hand in hand, day in and day out … We couldn’t do our jobs without ICE,” Provost added.Scott Olson/Getty Images
Provost explained the reason the U.S. needs ICE is because “it’s not our job to do the detention portion. And we have to have that ability. ICE brings so much to the table.”
“Not to mention the interior enforcement that they do when we start talking about criminal aliens who are residing here in the country, some with some very extensive criminal histories,” she added.

Every day, the brave men and women of ICE are liberating communities from savage gangs like MS-13. We will NOT stand for these vile Democrat smears in law enforcement. We will always stand proudly with the BRAVE HEROES of ICE and BORDER PATROL!

How can the Democrats, who are weak on the Border and weak on Crime, do well in November. The people of our Country want and demand Safety and Security, while the Democrats are more interested in ripping apart and demeaning (and not properly funding) our great Law Enforcement!

The president’s tweet last month called Democrats “weak on the border” and “weak on crime.” He demanded safety and security in his tweet, concluding in praise of the law enforcement.
