Brett Kavanaugh Sworn in as US Supreme Court Justice on Same Day as Senate Confirmation

WASHINGTON – Brett Kavanaugh was sworn in as U.S. Supreme Court justice on Saturday, the court said, after a deeply divided U.S. Senate confirmed him to the court and Republicans dismissed accusations of sexual misconduct against the conservative judge.

Probably a good call – no need to draw it out. I’d hope for some actual leadership to help people move forward, but I’m not going to hold my breath on that. It helps both sides to keep people angry until November.
