Everytown for Gun Safety New Celebrity-Filled PSA Pushes People to Vote for Pro-Gun Control Candidates

In order to get people to vote for “gun sense candidates who will support commonsense gun safety laws,” Everytown for Gun Safety released a new video that features celebrities like Kevin Bacon, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Will Arnett, and Julianne Moore.

The star-studded video encourages people to “make a plan to vote,” with the cast revealing how they will vote in the upcoming midterms.

“On November 6, we have an opportunity to elect candidates who will actually do something about our country’s gun violence crisis,” the actors and actresses state. “Gun sense candidates who will support commonsense gun safety laws […] and, most importantly, people that aren’t bought and paid for by the NRA.”

“But we have to show up to the polls to actually make that happen,” they further warn. “So we’ve gotta get out and vote for them.”

Watch the video below:

Michael J. Fox says he and his wife plan on voting after breakfast, while others plan on voting either in the morning to get an “I Voted” sticker or after they pick their kids up from school.

“The point is, make a plan to vote on November 6,” Arnett states.

A NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll from April found that 46 percent of registered voters said a candidate’s position on gun policy would be a major factor in deciding who to vote for, which was down 13 points from February.

I think I am fed up with Hollyweird telling us what we should and shouldnt do…shut the hell up already….we dont care what you think…keep your damn opinions to your self…I have stopped going to the movies and watching tv as I refuse to support this nonsense…

I DO NOT NEED OR WANT ANY VOTING ADVICE FROM ANYONE IN HOLLYWOOD. NOR DO I NEED ANY ADVICE ON GUN OWNERSHIP FROM THOSE WHO USE GUNS IN ALMOST EVERY MOVIE THAT GLORIFIES VIOLENCE TO MAKE MONEY. IF GUN VIOLENCE IS SOOO BAD WHY DO SOOO MANY MOVIES HAVE GUN VIOLENCE IN THEM??? GUN OWNERSHIP IS A RIGHT UNDER THE BILL OF RIGHTS AND CONFIRMED BY SEVERAL SCOTUS DECISIONS (D C V HELLER) (McDonald v. City of Chicago)

I might take a bunch of people who pretend for a living more serious IF they took down the walls around their estates AND disarmed their personal security. Also, stop making any movies that have guns, or gun-use.

They know nothing about guns but think they’re experts on the subject. Illegal guns make up most of the violent crimes. People in the NRA shoot no one. No matter the laws, Mexican cartels will still ship guns to inner-cities.

Ooooo! More ‘stars’ who star in violent movies want to confiscate my guns.
Come and get ’em, dungheaps.
Thankfully, I’ve never been ‘forced’ to kill anyone in my entire life, but that could change and I will not feel a shred of guilt. Of course, I doubt bad-ass Footloose Baconator will show up at my door, but if he does, it will be the last of his most inspiring roles.
