Chris Christie Is Called a ‘Fat A**’ on Air. But Just Listen to His Response …

It has been a tough couple of weeks for New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.

The unpopular governor was spotted enjoying a beach which had been closed to the public because of a state government shutdown. Christie took advantage of the governor’s beach house, which afforded his family some private sunbathing time in Island Beach State Park.

Aerial footage captured Christie and his family blissfully taking in some rays on the shorefront and the images traveled around social media, becoming widely mocked.

Christie did not avoid that mockery when he went on a popular New York radio show on “The Fan” Sports Radio 66 Monday afternoon.

An angry call from a Mike in Montclair, New Jersey, resulted in an exchange of words between the governor and his colorful constituent. “Mike” told Christie, “Governor, next time you want to sit on a beach that is closed to the entire world except you, you put your fat a** in a car and go to a beach that is open to all your constituents.”

The comment resulted in Christie calling Mike a “communist,” saying, “I love getting calls from communists in Montclair.” Mike went on to call Christie a “bully” and Christie called him a “bum,” before the caller got cut off.

Whatever you think of Christie’s decision, everyone should be happy with the Photoshop battle that ensued:

Good job, everyone.
