House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) is vowing to invite President Joe Biden to testify in Republicans’ impeachment probe.

During a hearing on Wednesday on allegations of influence peddling by members of the Biden family, Comer said, “What we have here is a major discrepancy on what role Joe Biden played. We know that three former Biden associates say that Joe Biden was actively involved.”

“But we have Hunter Biden testifying under oath that his dad didn’t know,” he continued.

Comer added, “So in the coming days, I will invite President Biden to the Oversight Committee to provide his testimony and explain why his family received tens of millions of dollars from foreign companies with his assistance. We need to hear from the president himself.”

Earlier in the hearing, Tony Bobulinski — a former business partner of Hunter Biden — testified that Joe Biden violated corruption and RICO laws, as well as FARA laws.

However, Democrats seized on his lack of ability to list a specific crime the president allegedly committed.

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) insisted, “There’s no evidence at all that he’s committed any high crime or misdemeanor.”

“What is it?” he asked.

Meanwhile, Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) asked Republicans, “At what point are you gonna fish or cut bait? So, I just have to tell you, it’s over. Impeachment is over.”

“I dare you to impeach, but you won’t because you don’t have the evidence. And because you don’t have the evidence, you don’t have the votes. Guys, it’s dead. And so, I’m here to pronounce the time of death: 5:16, impeachment is dead, 5:16, Biden impeachment is dead. Joe Biden has been acquitted,” he added.
