The Stanley thermos company helped the owner of a destroyed Kia Sorento after she posted a video displaying that her Stanley thermos survived a fiery blaze.
According to the Good News Network, the car’s owner, Danielle, posted a video of her car’s charred remains on TikTok.
In the clip, the Stanley thermos sat in the cup holder of the destroyed car intact. Danielle asked, “Everybody’s so concerned about if the Stanley spills, but what about if it melts?”
She reached in to grab the cup and stated, “In a fire yesterday, and it still has ice in it.”
Then she shook the cup and ice could be heard from inside, swishing around, still cool.
The video went viral. Comments from other users suggested the company do something for Danielle since the video ran like a free advertisement.
One stated, “This is the only advertising Stanley needs.”
Another noted, “If they don’t send you a free Stanley I will have no hope. This made me for the first time want a Stanley.”
And one user pointed out, “Never understood the Stanley hype until now so they better get you money for this free advertisement.”
The Stanley company took notice, and President Terence Reilly responded, “We’ve all seen your video. Wow, what an ordeal and we’re all really glad you’re safe.”
“I’ve seen a lot of comments that we should send you some Stanleys. Well, we are gonna send you some Stanleys,” he added.
Then Reilly went on to note, “But there’s one more thing. We’ve never done this before and we’ll probably never do it again, but we’d love to replace your vehicle.”
This led the post to gain even more hype with comments from supporters telling Danielle, “STANLEY IS GONNA REPLACE YOUR CAR OMGGGGG,” and other similar sentiments.
