Jay Sekulow, Chief Counsel for the American Center for Law & Justice, pulled no punches when Fox News’s Kimberly Guilfoyle asked him for his thoughts on the FBI’s recommendation not to pursue litigation against Hillary Clinton following its email probe.
Sekulow laid out why the recommendation should have resulted in felony charges, saying:
“I looked up the words ‘extremely careless’ and the legal definitions and looked at the case law and it became clear. Extremely careless is gross negligence. Gross negligence over the statute is a felony.”
Despite Sekulow’s suggestion, Clinton went on with her Tuesday with business as usual, which included a campaign stop with President Obama in North Carolina.
