Videos shared on social media showed the crowd roaring with cheers and applause, with some reporters noting that members of the crowd were chanting “USA! USA!”

Students at Alabama were warned against “disruptive behavior,” as IJR has previously reported.
While the initial warning was interpreted as a warning against booing the president, an email sent from the university clarified that students were expected to be respectful towards all students and staff.
Outside the game, protesters had inflated the infamous Baby Trump balloon. But pictures on social media showed that someone had slashed the ballon, causing it to deflate.
