CNNâs Chris Cuomo is expressing his personal concerns about the professional drawbacks of his career.
During an interview with SiriusXM, Cuomo had a candid moment where he shared his brutally honest opinion of his job as a CNN anchor on âCuomo Prime Time.â
âI donât want to spend my time doing things that I donât think are valuable enough to me personally,â he said.
When asked to further explain, he continued.
âI donât like what I do, professionally, Iâve decided. I like doing this show. I like talking to you guys,â Cuomo said of the radio show. âBut I donât value indulging irrationality âhyperpartisanship. I donât think itâs worth my time.â

He continued, âI donât like some jacka**, loser, fat-tire biker to be able to pull over and get in my face and in my space and talk bulls***t to me. I donât want to hear it.â
Cuomo went on to share details about a heated exchange that occurred on Easter Sunday. Someone reportedly confronted Cuomo for standing outside of his family home amid the coronavirus, reports the New York Post.
He admitted that it is difficult to maintain a professional stance when faced with a personal issue. The news anchor noted the importance of standing his ground saying it is worth more than him making millions of dollars each year.
Cuomo continued, âI have to tolerate peopleâs opinion about me because Iâm a public figure,â Cuomo said. âI donât want to do that, I donât think itâs worth it to me.â
Cuomoâs SiriusXM radio interview comes approximately two weeks after reports began circulating about his coronavirus diagnosis. While under quarantine, Cuomo has hosted his show from home, sharing details about his personal battle with the virus.
As of Tuesday morning, Cuomoâs interview has not signaled a departure from his show.
