These Before and After Photos of San Bernardino Sum Up What Media Coverage Has Become

San Bernardino was the biggest terror attack on American soil since 9/11 and the Fort Hood Massacre. Now, after the saturation coverage for only a few days, the media are disappearing.

This doesn’t mean the story isn’t being covered.

But it does reflect the urgency with which the media treats tragedies such as this one – and what some see as a huge problem with the churn-and-burn approach of the 24-hour news cycle.
