  • Oh No!  Trump wants every American Citizen to have a job that pays a living wage, every American company to be profitable, every American to feel, and be, safe in their comunities and houses, be able to afford to send their kids to college where they are not taught that socialism is the answer, every child to have the benefits of an education that makes sure that they can read their diploma and do the simple math we use every day, have the ability to buy an affordable health care plan they want, go to a doctor who doesn't need to charge 150.00 for a visit just to cover their Malpractice Insurance bill, and to be protected from Lawyers who get multi-million dollar judgements because the operation that saved someone's life left a scar.   Somehow, that doesn't sound like Fascism to me.

    • The facist are the ones the want to maintain power even when elections have told them you lost. O'barry going to Hawaii to tell his appointee judge to block, Trump's order, Loretta Lynch makes a video telling them to resist and may be blood will be spilled,  dem senators delaying all Trump appointees, all the snowflakes crying like todlers, Berkley burning the Free Speech and stop Milo from giving his presentation on campus, all that to me show how the libs are the facist.

    • Jim: You've got this right!  Some of my family had to live under Hitler and, in one instance, barely escaped with their lives.  At the other end of this, my wife and I lived within a few miles of the Iron Curtain in its heyday.  Guard towers barely 150 feet from the guard rail which had a "jolly roger" on it warning of mines.  And the minefield was just a few feet beyond the guard rail: the guards armed with automatic weapons.

The progressive punks mouthing all of this nonsense about facism have no idea of what they are yelling about.  Okay, they are acting out all this crap here where there are no consequences in many cases.  They should try that in cultures where there are consequences and the consequences are often fatal.  Nothing teaches a life lesson like a bullet to the head or a scimitar to the neck.

  • This list of what constitutes "fascism" is cleaverly taylored to make Trump look "bad", but fascism is a whole lot more than an empahsis on "nationalism", or believing a country's military should be supported, or that law and order is imprortant.  Who doesn't want to have pride in their own country?  Who thinks their military should be easily defeated in war?  Who wants to live in a society where crime is rampant and largely unpunished?

Anyone who has lived under true fascism isn't fooled by this silly list.  No one is being arrested for criticizing the government.  No one's being shot for dissent.  The Constitution isn't being scrapped.  A fascist leader isn't someone who "tweets out" whatever he wants.  It's someone who kills you at his whim.  Learn the difference.

  • Most of those commenters don't even know what the word Fascism means.  They just use it because the press threw it out there to describe Trump.  They conveniently ignore the 8 years of Obama where he and his party re-wrote the entire Health Care system in the country to suit their goals, and spent 10 Trillion dollars more that they took in, and we have nothing to show for it.

So We Asked a Woman Who Wa..."What is going on in this country is giving me chills."A popular talking point on the left is that Donald Trump has things in common with Hitler. But is this the case? Independent Journal Review decided to speak to a woman born in Nazi Germany about the comparison. We talked with Marion Ingeborg Andrews, who goes by Inga. She was born in Dusseldorf, Germany, in 1940 during Hitler's reign.Andrews said:"What is going on in this country is giving me chills. Trump is not like Hitler. Just because a leader wants order doesn't mean they're like a dictator. What reminds me more of Hitler than anything else isn't Trump, it's the destruction of freedom of speech on the college campuses — the agendas fueled by the professors. That's how Hitler started, he pulled in the youth to miseducate them, to brainwash them, it's happening today."Andrews drove home her point further for the younger generation:"It saddens me that we are teaching garbage in the schools and in the college. We don't teach history anymore. History repeats itself over and over. The kids out there today haven't ever lived through a war like I did. I remember sitting in a rock pile, cleaning rocks, to rebuild Germany. I remember eating maple leaves and grass to survive."She later made it to the U.S. when her mother married an American, but her journey wasn't without hurdles. Then Andrews had some choice words for the protesters in the streets destroying property:“America needs to grow up. The young people who are rioting and destroying property, who have no respect for elders and freedom of speech, I was so proud to become a citizen of this country.”She opened up about how she accepted American culture and values:We would go to the malls and we wouldn't speak our foreign language, we would speak English. Because we believed we needed to honor the country that opened its doors for us. It was rude to do otherwise."Andrews returned to the present day with a message for those attacking freedom of speech:"Professors shouldn't be telling their students to go after freedom of speech. They should be telling them that this is the greatest country in the world. The demonstrators can't tell you why they're demonstrating. I'm not a Republican. I'm not a Democrat. I just want the country to be at peace.I see what is happening here reflecting some of the things we saw in Germany, and it's terrifying. It's sad. But it's not because of Trump. It's because of poor education.Trump is not like Hitler. The theory that he is is propaganda. Yes, I lived through some of Nazi Germany, but all you have to do is read some books about that period to see how wrong that theory is."“My point in saying all this is that if people aren't able to see outside of one world view, that's what happens,” Andrews concluded. “They buy the propaganda. Imagine that group, opposing personal responsibility, growth of business, freedom from government opression...

30 years ago this would have been unimaginable.

  • It is not just the liberal courts.  The media and left wing social justice warriors are acting in every fascist manner while decrying fascism.  They are the very acme of hypocrisy.   There are 2 main ways to go.  One is Nationalism (which does not need to be fascist) and Globalism (as exemplified by the Trilateral Commission, the Bilderburg Society, and the Council on Foreign Relations, among many others).

  • I have thought about the courts for 45 years, even before I went to law school, and how they are to function in a constitutional republic. It really started after I read Roe v. Wade which, even as a junior in college, I realized was manifestly flawed. But, of late, I have concluded that the courts are the hyperactive thyroid of the body politic invested with far more power than originally intended, and as any hyperactive thyroid will do, it has sickened the body.

Today begins the confirmation hearings of Neil Gorsach to be associate justice of the Supreme Court. There was a time, with the exception of Roosevelt's court packing scheme, that confirmation proceedings were more like a men's club smoker, filled with hale fellow, well met, rather than the pier six poitical brawls we have today. I think that is because politicians abdicated their responsibilities and judges came to believe they were quasi-legislators. This descending tendancy has reached now down to U.S. District Court judges who, like little electors of Hanover, govern their own petty states but think them empires.

I disagree with Anne Coulter if she makes a nexus between the courts and fascism. I do agree with her if she makes a nexus between fascism and progressivism. Especially in universities and colleges we can see in those cauldrons and bastions the very outbreak of fascism with its supression of wrong thinking and wrong speech. There, where young people should explore beyond the utmost bounds of human thought, they are immured in the stale doctrine of the left, unable to escape.

I have excorariated at length the recent decision coming out of Hawaii where I found the court's decision to give standing to Hawaii to sue to enjoin Trump's recent order regarding six Muslim nations and its absurd proposition that persons not within the legal jurisdiction of the United States are entitled to the rights, privileges and protections of the Constitution of the United States, as a fit of emotion well beyond reason. Why am I not surprised that judge is a Harvard classmate of Obama?

    • Well said. It is unbelievable what these people believe. The ignorance of them is palpable. The schools and universities have molded this thinking and the lack of education and understanding of history and our government and constitution is appalling. No wonder they are so deluded. Half of the young people can't even tell you who past presidents were, and only know the 1st and 2nd amendment that they spout adnausim to justify their ignorant behavior and without any deeper understanding of anyThing else. God forbid the educational institutions would require them to think and consider beyond their narrow framework. Sickening.

He is asking for 6 months for a TEMPORARY TRAVEL BAN INTO OUR COUNTRY did you read that the word TEMPORARY he's not making it about religion like most of you are screaming it's about. It's about safety. He wants to get a plan in action so that we can be able to be able to do extreme vetting at our borders. Those that are criminal Free will be allowed in those that aren't will not. As an American I want him to protect us that is his job. So  i ask the question again why don't you want the President to keep America and Americans safe. I'm waiting for your answers.

    • Amen!! It's as if they no longer see the Constitution or as if it applies to other countries of origin! If you are not a US citizen, a visa or green card holder you have no Constitutional Rights to be considered for reentry into the United States. Until the person becomes a citizen or are given a visa  or green card while you're out of this country, and it doesn't apply to you or them. It only enshrines those Rights to the American's, and if they allow the Constitutional Right's to breach the border of this country then everyone in other countries have those Rights, and they're asking for a slippery slope to allow it to be extended to individual's that do not have those Rights yet, and once you set those wheels into motion then it sets a precedent to allow people that are not citizens yet those very Rights that so many wish they have!? That is what makes it so special to be an American! I feel the Judges that do not know classified information or status of those countries should be able to say whether or not an individual that wants to come here to visit without being vetted from the countries that were outlined by Obama (might I add) to have those same Constitutional Rights as the ones I have said above! It's a overreach of power that they are entering in blindly to not know whether that person would be one of the many that has done us harm, and it's just plain idiotic for them to know any differently than people that have the correct information about those countries abilities to be able to verify them, bc they don't have a functioning government to be able to come to the conclusion of some sort of guarantee that that person is who they say they are or not, and whether that person has any ties to a terrorist organization or not! If they keep pressing this issue then we are entering a Constitutional Crisis of which the likes that we as a nation has never seen before, and it is a wreckless precedent to set into motion. If they can do this for this President then they will be able to keep doing it to other Presidents. I'm a Trump voter and we all know what he said on the campaign trail, but to hold a biased view so heavy that you can't see the safety of the country comes first and foremost over anything is just complete and utter nonsense!! We know that they don't like Trump, but there are many Democrats that are for this Executive Order, but they're too blind through their hatred for Trump to even notice them! They seen how they sat on their hands during the Joint Session Speech even when the President said he had brought back many jobs that would have went to other countries, and I know of many of them didn't like their actions then and that don't like their obstructionistic way they're standing in the way of this President no matter what he says or does!! Period!!

Judges on these Article IV territorial courts do not enjoy the protections of Article Three of the Constitution, and serve terms of ten years rather than for life.

Federal courts may not decide every case that happens to come before them. In order for a district court to entertain a lawsuit, Congress must first grant the court subject matter jurisdiction over the type of dispute in question.

You moron democrats are all afraid of GUNS! The Republicans are not afraid of guns! Why? The Republicans and other conservative people are not afraid of guns at all. Seems funny to me. I know why. The main part of The Second Amendment is not about hunting rights, it's not about self protection, IT IS IN PLACE AS THE SECOND AMENDMENT BEHIND THE FIRST(FREEDOM OF SPEECH) AMENDMENT TO BE ABLE TO OVER THROUGH A REPRESSIVE GOVERNMENT WHY? You democrats think you are smarter than the general population. You think the general population is incapable of governing themselves. You democrats have balls the size of KING KONG. The reason the conservatives are not afraid of guns is because they do not want to tell all the people WHAT THEY MUST COMPLY WITH! When you start to tell the PEOPLE what they can and can't do YOU BECOME A REPRESSIVE GOVERNMENT,  you know like Russia, North  Korea, China? Our Second Amendment gives The People the strength to get rid of all of the repressive government's supporters, YOU. Bottom line is The Conservatives are not afraid of the people taking control of the government ONLY THE DEMOCRATS ARE AFRAID, because they are not doing what they were elected for.   IT SHOULD BE MANDATORY FOR EVERY ELECTED OFFICIAL TO READ THE 'FEDERALIST PAPERS', most of you democrats have no idea what that is, you should if you want to govern People in The United States.             The comments below are right. These kids calling Trump a fascist have no  idea what fascism is and are grossly mislead. This must be what our education   system is telling them. One guy listed the definition of Fascism and applying it  to Trump. I'm answering the charges here. His definition  are highlited and mine  are following responses.     Ann  Coulter Says Critics Were Right — Trump’s Election Led to Fascism...But  He   Beware of fascism: The guy says: Powerfuland  continuing pride in nationalism---Why shouldn't one be proud of  their country and why shouldn't we be No.1.We always have   Disdain for Human  rights-Since when does Trump have a disdain for human rights?he  supports human rights and hires many gays and nationalities.   Supremacy of the  military--Why shouldn't we have a strong military. Obama shrunk us  down to pre ww 11 levels.   rampant  sexism-Where is trump sexist anymore than Obama and Hillary  are?   controlled mass  media--How is he controlling the media? They are all against   him   Obsession with  national security--Why not when every country in the world wants to  destroy you and take you over.   Labor power  suppressed- How is he suppressing labor? Obama and Hillary are doing  that with the miners. Trump is bringing companies back here and creating  jobs.   Disdain for  intellectuals  and the arts--Trump is none of that. He's  just  cutting federal funding for the arts . Actors and artists and states can fund  that.   Rampant cronyism  and  corruption  ---That describes Hilary and her Clinton foundation  and Obama and his muslim brothers in his administration not Trump   Obsession with  crime and punishment-- Why not? Crime is out of hand and going  unpunished.  Don't these snowflakes want to live in a  safe  country?   Fraudulent  elections --In spite of what these protestors say and think, the   election was fair and square. If anyone was fraudulent it was Hillary with her  illegal voters.   Wars of  Aggression -- Trump was against  Irag and Afghanistan but said once  we got in there he said we should fight it out.Obam, and Hilary contributed to  them and created ISIS by supporting the rebels against Assad.   So I guess by this guy's definition of fascism Obama, and  Hillary are the true fascists not Trump, but this is what these protestors  believe and don't  know the meaning of the word fascism and just repeat what the   media and professors  feed them

      2. I tolerated my tax $ paying for young, healthy adults suck off the system.

      3. I tolerated libs referring to my constitution as antiquated and trying to rewrite its meaning.

      4. I tolerated a president who gave millions of dollars stacked on pallets to a country known for its terrorist affiliation.

      5. I tolerated that same president who let  our military decay to near disadvantage.

      6. I tolerated people  denying me freedom to express my belief in my God .

      7. I tolerated and struggled with eight years of an economy intended to lower my standard of living, and uplift the economy of a communist country.

      8. I tolerated a political party (dems) internally collude and conspire against its opponents without consequences.

      9. I tolerated socialist heathens  who destroy property and deny others there freedom to speech.

      10. I tolerated having to change my speech (PC)  to suit a small group who are constantly offended and hurt because they are weak and incapable of adapting to the real world.

I think I, like many others have been pretty damn tolerant. I think it's your turn.

  •  Response to "The List"

The list, which hangs in the US Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington DC, was written by political scientist Laurence W Britt.

There is no “Dr. Laurence Britt, political scientist” and there never was. There is only Laurence Britt, former executive and author of a single book, who wrote the 14 Signs. Far from being anything resembling an expert on politics, much less Fascism specifically, Britt is a former corporate executive who worked for such corporations as Allied Chemical, Mobil and Xerox Corp and studied business at Northwestern University.

So what was the inspiration for his article? As it turns out, it was nothing more than a propaganda piece intended to serve as an argument claiming the Bush administration was in fact, Fascist and that it was a basis for his book “June 2004,” in which America descends into Fascism following the election of a strangely Bush-like far-right politician, a book which he maintains has been “quite predictive,” though one might have to actually care to read the book to determine whether or not this is true.

  • If you really want to know what fascism looks like, just look at the democrat party and their rabbid supporters.

  • Trump wants us all to have work, feel confidrnt and *safe* go to ( affordable) college if we want, and have affordable health insurance *and* doctors who don't charge upwards of $150 a visit because of their mal-practice insurance payments? :-)

    I'm all for it!

I've never ever heard him promise all that, but- wonderful- I'll take it!

    when is it all beginning?

  • Folks of course Pres Trump isn't a Fascist in the true sende of the word. Of course Hitler and Stalin were true nightmares of dictators.

what is being compared, is how subtly Trump is appealing to those citizens who feel pessimistic and angry  and who want their great America back.

Only Hitler didn just get German business back for the Germans did he? Yet he went on radio etc ( new technology) just like Trump goes on Twitter frequently.

Trump is telling working class people that their day will come, no  more immigrants stealing jobs and no more of this "socialism". And on and on.

He's just getting started- his people's le talked about "taking  names" when he was heckled in a crowd!

    Taking names?

That might not sound so bad if order balance and sanity are going to ensue.

But Trump is *not* working cass.

He does NOT care about you, or  care about abortion one way or the other, nor does he truly really care if you have a job or affordable health insurance.

You think "liberals" are crybabies? Witness Trump's temper tantrums every time someone makes fun of him- something all presidents endure.

No Democrat or Liberal is whining that  Hillary Clinton didn't get elected. You haven't witnessed a one. What you have done is read that Dems and Libs are all crybabies- and so you believe it.

Truth? People who realized Trump won felt sick and if they cried it was out of horror!

Horror  that he'll soon have us back  fearing "commies" treating women like madonnas or whores,  art museums and literature will be considered junk, human beings who happen to be homosexual will be not only considered perverts but maybe even locked up.. oh wait.. didn't Hitler do that?

Hitler didn't start out as a clear madman either. He promised a lot that the working man wanted.

So no, Dems Libs and Progressives do know there's a big difference.. but the seeds,  and the

    signs *are* there nonetheless.

Here is my feeling- if Pres. Trump is going to help us all get back to work for accetable pay, and back to doctors who don't  charge  half one's paycheck to be seen for 10 minutes- that's great!

why would I be against that?  I hope you *are* right and I'm wrong- I'll be happily surprised and I'll admit I was wrong from the rooftops!

  • But Jim, the health insurance the Obama administration started ( "Obamacare")  wasn't supposed to be the lasting result- it was just a beginning to get us toward ( finally) having a National Health Service like every other civilized country.

I thought "Obamacare "   was a very poor health service too!

But throwing it away immediately won't accomplish anythng positive either!

    Give us a better one!

And I know exactly what Fascism is.

No Trump isnt Hitler- but Hitler wasnt Hitler at first  either.

Trump is sneaky and clever and selfish and the uneducated poor whites  of the USA who feel more pess and disenfranchised than blacks or latinos, think theyre finally going to be restored to their rightful place in things. I'd laugh - but it's not funny. It's depressing and terrible.
