I call foul! Why is it she can't be pro choice? I am not but I am not offended by her view. Isn't this what is wrong in our country a failure to respect someone else's views. Not all conservatives are the same like not all liberals are the same. The middle has to be respected as well.

Suspended. Really? So she isn't allowed to have a belief? If it differs then she is persecuted? What she said makes perfect sense and there are many Republicans feel the same.  I can't stand liberals because the majority are hypocrites. Tomi,  is not a hypocrite but The Blaze sure seems to be. Acting like liberal snowflakes.

      David Knox.

She didn't say that they are "righteous". She just believes that the government shouldn't have control of women's bodies, no more than she believes they should take our guns away. She said that "she" didn't want to be a hypocrite.

People do change their minds as they mature. It's perfectly natural and I would wonder about someone that thought the same way at 50 than they did at 20.

Right liberals are hypocrits, probably cause they read allot more info to form a deductive opinion.  Sorry but cons are cookie cutters when it comes to ideas, the same shit from Reagan,  Bush, Bush,  and now Cheetos. Reps. Have underperformed the dems time and time again, cause they bring nothing new to the table.

Ah, Glen Beck. Tomi's reasoning was sound regardless of how one feels about abortion. What is unfortunate is that other employees feel they have input into Tomi's future. She is smart, clever and attractive so I'm betting she'll land on her feet regardless of whether Beck sticks to his "I don't expect everyone here to believe the same . . . ."

Making abortion a litmus test for the Republican Party is a mistake. There are Conservatives who are pro-choice but remain fiscal conservatives who are longtime party members. The GOP remains a big-tent party with room for those with a different perspective on this and other issues. For those who go by the moniker of pro-life, it encompasses opposition not only to abortion, but also opposition to the death penalty and euthansia. For many, it signifies that life is authored by God and only He can erase it.

There are also pro-life Democrats, including Bart Stupak and Bob Casey, who have encountered opposition within their own political party in favor of the prevailing pro-choice viewpoint.

It is a very personal decision with which we may never arrive at full agreement.

If being pro-life means that we are against euthanasia for humans then I am not pro-life. If you can let a DOG out of it's misery certainly a human being should have that right. DIGNITY people.

Many have criticized Lahren for speaking her mind and asserting her right to freedom of speech under the first amendment. Republicans and Conservatives speaking out against Lahren are hypocritical as they called liberals crybabies, triggered, and referred to them as needing a safe space during the last election.

Tomi was not suspended for being pro choice she was suspended for calling pro life conservatives hypocrites and for her lack of consistency of belief. Just nine days prior on her own program she was calling pro choice people baby killers. Research, then comment please.

Her belief isn't inconsistent. She can call pro choice abortionists murders, call pro life conservatives hypocrites and be pro choice under the guise of personal freedom and be consistent with all 3. She can be against abortion and be small government pro choice, you can choose not to have an abortion even if you're allowed to have one. It's not a stretch to see her point of view.

I'm not in that idiot's body, someone else was! Frankly I don't give a rip what she does with her own body, its the destruction of an innocent person I'm concerned about. If you don't want a kid then don't get pregnant! That should be pretty simple for everyone to understand. Instead, the pro-abortion crowd try to make the argument about them, when it is not about them at all. She can do anything she wants except kill a baby.

Hold on just one minute...being conservative DOES NOT mean you have to be a Christian.  Where do you get off telling people that only true Christians have morals and if you are not one, you have loose moral behavior?

People use God to play God. And you're one of them.

Okay so your daughter is gang raped and ends up pregnant, she wants to abort and you what, call her a whore or a devil? Your logic goes nowhere.

People are going to get abortions just like some people will steal and others will kill. YOU can't stop it why? Bc your not God so go ahead and spout your holier than thou bullshit but again it's going nowhere.

Now you either let these desperate women get safe abortions with their doctors or they'll use a coathanger when no more doctors will perform the surgery.

Or you could push for more sensible birth control options and for them to be covered by insurance so we dont get to the point of conception and have to make decisions like these.

Kids will be kids I'm sorry you can't stop them.

Loose Loose moral values? You mean like the filthy rapists, pedophiles, and predators who seem to have more rights and are often believed over their innocent victims?

Who died and made YOU God? For those who try to twist and use religion to judge and condemn others, remember that God gave us ALL free will. It is NOT YOUR call to make either. Judging, condemning, insulting, and disrespecting women who feel the need to end an unwanted pregnancy. That is a VERY personal and painful choice that many struggle with. Or, since you seem to think it's ok to further victimize rape and violence victims by forcing them to carry and give birth to a reminder of their abuser, I guess you will also be there to deal with the consequences and aftermath once that unwanted child is born, right? You will adopt or help out in some way? Of course not. It's easy for some to just force their ignorant, self-righteous, opinions on others because they do not have to stick around and deal with the consequences afterwards. But, I guess you must know more than God.

Tomi Laheren has a very good point. The problem is making the issue black or white, abortion or no abortion and getting the government involved. There are already circumstances that warrant an abortion such as rape, incest. Both these situations can be terminated early on in the unwanted  and unlawful pregnancy. I suspect most reasonable and understanding people could agree that forcing a rape or incest victim to carry the result of a criminal and vile act is beyond civilized.

For those who defend the fetus at the expense of the welfare and emotional well being of the female I suggest you reduce her to the status of an implement or incubator. It is easy to make these decisions and force your opinions on someone else and especially easy for someone who isn't female and capable of being pregnanant.

I totally and completely reject partial birth abortion, a legal procedure devised by the Democrat Liberal Left. But I also reject the idea of the government getting involved with forcing a woman into being an implement or incubator. There must be some point in the early stages at which the question can be answered without endangering the mother physically or emotionally or ending a viable life. Tomi Lahren should not be fired for her opinion. She is 24 years old. It will be interesting to see how her opinion might change as the years go by.

I am sure a lot of Republican women feel the same way. It's our body our choice, however I feel there should be limits on time, like not over 3 months. It's Not a birth control, we have lost of them on the market. As long as our tax dollars aren't paying for the women that choose abortion, its their decision.

Tomi has drunk the elixir of the right to kill your child.  The government should go back to the way it should be.  Out of the life of women's bodies and for the rights of all bodies.  The born and the preborn (which is not a women's body unless it is a girl).  Take you fist out of God's face and start acting like a real women and care for the unborn.  Shame on you Tomi.  Thanks Blaze for dumping another weak women.

It is not right for the government to get in a womans body?  But it is alright for the government to legalize someone else getting in a womans body and killing a precious, a living, an innocent, a helpless, baby that has no one to speak up for there right to life.  That is hypocrisy of the highest level.  I don't care what you believe, what your opinion is, or even what my opinion is.  All that really matters is what God's opinion is about the matter of abortion.  He is never wrong and He calls it murder. Tomi, I really enjoyed your show and thought you had a great future in conservative broadcasting and I pray you will soon change your mind on this matter.  God's way is always the right and best way.  It is never hypocritical. I stand with God on this matter and I hope when you really think about it you will too.

I think her suspension has more to do with calling people who are pro life 'hypocrites' than it does with her actual stance on abortion.  Keep in mind that the reasons for her suspension (she hasn't been fired yet) have not been disclosed so you're all hyperventilating based on conjecture rather than actual fact.   Also keep in mind that no mater where you work, if you say things that piss off the majority of the customers, you're probably going to find yourself getting disciplined no matter how much you cry about your first amendment rights.

I’m pro-choice, and here’s why. I’m someone that’s for limited government. So I can’t sit here and be a hypocrite and say I’m for limited government but I think the government should decide what women do with their bodies.

What a stupid line of reasoning.  I am for limited government AND against abortion.  I don't think the government should be involved in regulating abortion, marriage or healthcare.  That is not the purview of the government.  But Lahren cannot see past her single-point ideology that to be pro-life is necessary to desire an increased role in government.  What twisted logic.

All the comments are funny...I don't see anything from either explaining why she got suspended and Beck says right here that he respects and likes different points of views. So did she get suspended? I don't know from the article. Is there an internal reason she wasn't on? I don't know but look at all the comment outrage that she was suspended for being pro life. I read no proof...so faux outrage or something that actually happened for that reason. Idk.

All women absolutely should have the right to say what they wil do with "their" bodies. The problem is that women that decide to have an abortion are deciding what to do with someone elses body. Mother and child are two seperate entities. Women DO NOT have the right to choose what they do with the babys body, That right was forfeited with the decision to have unprotected sex. The extremely small percentage of pregnancy by rape not withstanding... thats a totally different argument.

I too am for smaller government but im not for no government. The government should inforce the laws of the land and the laws of the land should not infringe on the laws of God or even common human decency.

I think where you get messed up is by being 'for' the laws of God. I think it is pretty obvious that this is a set of laws that are not agreed to by all.

She is a product of her generation. May be post aborted herself, or has helped friends or family with their abortion.  When one educates himself/ herself  on the humanity of the unborn person (which every one of us was at one time) one cannot tolerate that person's deliberate destruction.

so you can understand where she might be coming from but then go on to dismiss the point anyway? Way to go proving your arrogance.

Is abortion good? No. Black and white argument right there.

Should abortion be a safe and legal option for women in desperate need? Yes. This is not so black and white bc you dont know why these women need abortions. You can assume but you dont know.

Should there be a limit on how many abortions you can have? YES! This is not a form of birth control! There also are most likely complications gained from having multiple abortions so that should be studied to determine how many a woman can have before blank happens.

Silly me! I thought that I had read "I try to hire people who have a different opinion because I believe in being intellectually rigorous. I don’t want strawmen. I want people to have a real argument on the other side so we can learn from each other, and we can grow ..." I guess he only means that IF you agree with him "eventually". Look I am a big girl and can either get or not get what I WANT. But the government does not need to have a say REGARDLESS of my personal feelings.
