LOL, LOL. You mean the same polls that predicted a Clinton landslide ?

My thoughts exactly Robert.  There will be less illegal immigration and illegal voting next time around.  I think that it will take a toll on the actual numbers.  Now, back to ridicualous polls.  The polsters are not asking the right people, the right questions, or interpreting the answers right.  In summation, they suck at thier job.

The polls were right. Problem is, polls actually make each vote equal. the electoral college doesn't give a damn about that and still treats us like a collection of independent nation states. Clinton took over three million votes nationally. Unfortunately, Trump won 68,00 more votes in three key states, thus winning despite it not being the intent of the majority.

Trump lost by 3 million votes. That pretty much is a landslide!

The polls were correct. Had it not been for your wannabe Hitler and Putin rigging, the results would have been different. The only thing any Democrate has to worry about in Texas is their cheating racist tactics.

Did they only poll dems as usual?  Cruz will win as he is pro-American.  And he will win by a larger margin if they weed out the illegals who vote for dems because the dems promise them welfare medical and housing.....on the American dime.

In view of the childish reactions of Democrats over the last couple of years - and all their whining and raising hell because Trump won the most recent election - I don't understand how anyone would seriously consider voting Democratic.

Me either @Ben. I'm registered as a Dem (in my state you have to pick a side to vote in the primaries) though I've always voted for whomever I think will be the best POTUS. After watching how the Dems have behaved toward President Trump while considering our massive and serious problems, I doubt I'd ever vote for another Dem.

I know many voters like Cruz but many don't. His every move is calculated to get he, himself, to win at whatever the goal is. Going all the way back to college, few like him because he isn't cooperative. So if he did lose to a Dem, it would be because of Cruz not because of politics. However, I don't see a Dem winning anywhere in Texas except maybe in Austin. After how wrong the polls were leading up to Nov. 8, 2016, I no longer trust them. When one looks at the fine print down at the bottom of the polls when they're published, it is easy to see how skewered the number of those polled is, often favoring Dems. Polls can be manipulated to get any outcome really.

Do you remember how "friendly" Obama and Hillary were during their 2008 campaigns? Then, how did Obama make her his SoS? (He gave the SoS to the hag mainly to stop her from challenging him in 2012!). In 2016, he endorsed her and also campaigned for her which was the main reason for her defeat as Americans did not want an Obama 3rd term and also said a FLAT NO on a referendum on his tenure!

If this takes place, it will be because of Cruz's antics during the presidential race. He showed the USA how shallow, flakey and untrustworthy he really is, instead of supporting Mr. Trump.

Ted Cruz won't lose to a democrat.  Look at what the democrats stand for.  Loss of free speech, anarchy, fascism, hate, immaturity, cowdardice and ignorance.  He came closer to beating Trump than any of the other 14 on the stage and I don't believe any polls...especially when I don't know where they come from.  Some liberal could be, and probably is, just pulling them out their a$$.

My question being did they poll people who can legally vote. Cruzs district has a high population of mexicans. And lets be honest, if you pit someone with mexican heritage againt someone with any other hispanic heritage, the mexican will poll better for nothing more than loyalty. Dont believe the polls. Legal immigrants in Texas are the minority in the hispanic community

I can't believe the citizens of Texas aren't smart enough to keep Ted Cruz in the driver's seat in the Senate.  The man is a wonderful freedom-loving patriot and will do everything he can to protect his state.  You know what you can do with that poll!

First I would wonder what areas were polled. If they polled a true cross section which I doubt or was the poll minipulated through either the questions asked or the area polled. For instance if they polled Austin of course the democrat wins.  If they polled south dallas he wins again.  The thing is the majority of counties in texas are republican and still have enough population to counter the democratic strong holds.  This is  how Trump won the Electoral college.   The democrats are concentrated in areas where there socalled majority of "wronged" "dependant"  voters becomes moot.  Where as the republicans and other conservatives voting in block for a change won in the majority of the counties in the nation.  This was enough to actually win in the electoral college which worked just a designed to keep the interests of a few large population centers from ruling the entire country.

You right-wingers go on and on about how wrong the polls were, but they weren't. What was wrong was the gerrymandering, the vote rigging, the willingness to allow Russia to interfere in American elections and the voter suppression the Republican party is willing to stoop to in order to win. If this is patriotism, I hate to see how treason would be defined. The whole lot of you should be ashamed because you are unpatriotic, un-American little traitors, all in the name of supporting the Myth of the Lost Cause and a Confederacy that should be long dead but festers as a corpse rotting in the presence of decent Americans.
