  • My feelings are hurt at the mere thought of erecting a statue honoring this person!  I'm suing somebody!  Time to find my safe space, my coloring books, and teddy bears!  And when this statue goes up, I'm tearing it down!  In fact, No more statues of anything, for anything, period!  Come on Congress, get your shit together and pass a law!  This is important.   More important than DACA, healthcare, taxes, borders, national security, wars on anything (except statues), natural disasters, debt ceilings, just to name a few of course.  I want action, NOW!  NO MORE STATUES PERIOD!  OK, 1 statue, commemorating the banning of all statues, but that's it!

  • Edith Windsor was a lovely lady, charming, funny and always wth a ready smile on her face. It was my pleasure to have made her acquaintance many years ago. May she rest in peace.

Her impact on the community was certainly monumental but she is not deserving of a public monument. No one is deserving of a public monument these days because, let's face it, everyone offends somebody at one time or another. If a statue is made it should be displayed in the courtyard of the LGBTQ Community Center where, presumably, it will offend the least amount of people.
