DNC Chairman Blames the ‘Pulpit on Sunday’ as Reason Voters Aren’t Buying into Dems’ Messaging

Chairman of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) Tom Perez blasted churchgoers, those who read the NRA newsletter, and those who watch Fox News.

On Wednesday, Perez spoke at “The Court In Crisis: What’s Next For Progressives After Kavanaugh” event where he claimed the Democratic Party’s message isn’t getting across to voters because “people buy” what they hear at church.

“[W]e all have to make sure we’re fluent in what’s happening across our ecosystem so that we can come to each other’s defense because we need to build a bigger orchestra,” Perez said at the Demand Justice event. “They’ve had a big orchestra for some time, and they’ve got the megaphones to amplify it, whether it’s Sinclair at a local level, Fox at a national level.”

The DNC chairman claimed the reason they weren’t “penetrating” voters in specific areas:

“I’ve learned this from the outreach we’ve done at the DNC. Why aren’t we penetrating, I asked. And I had someone in northwestern Wisconsin tell me, ‘you know what, for most of the people I know, their principal sources of information are Fox News, their NRA newsletter, and the pulpit on Sunday.’ And it should come as a surprise to no one that our message doesn’t penetrate. It should come as a surprise to no one that that person has elevated the issue, of course, to the top, because that person on the pulpit is saying ‘ignore everything else that this person has done and is doing. We have to focus on one issue of Roe vs. Wade.'”

Perez has previously said during “The Bill Press Show” interview that he believed Rep.-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) was the “future of our party.”

An FYI to Tom Perez, my pastor does not preach on politics nor can I recall him ever mentioning Roe v Wade. I also do not watch FOX or any other national news programs, nor do I get anything from the NRA. But I am a Christian, I am against murder, I am against socialism / communism, and I am a supporter of the Constitution including the Second Amendment. In other words everything the Democratic Party stands for I am against!

Of course it IS the preachers who are actually telling us the correct way to live, the lifestyles that God says are wrong, and the abortions are wrong with God and all of the lying, cheating, stealing, killing, sexual abuse of children and women, the illegals coming across our borders, voting in our elections, and taking our resources from the people here in this country that needs help, and the dems disobeying the very laws those in DC have made. WE, THE CHRISTIANS ARE NOT BUYING INTO IT.

So if I do not agree with you, than something is wrong with me? Your message isn’t getting thru to me because you have zero idea who I am, what I believe, and want I want from my representatives. Call me. You listen to me, and I will listen to you. And like grown-ups, we can agree where we do and agree to disagree where we don’t.

Its more than roe vs wade, its the whole of the Democratic platform that goes against God and morality, its the spirit of anti-christ is what people are against.

Then we really need more church preaching to combat the evilness of the Democratic Party and that of Tom Perez!

Yeah they preach worshipping something different, and above Democrats, who think they “richly deserve” to be put that far above everyone else.
