The Department of Justice (DOJ) announced Wednesday that 16 anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) rioters have been arrested in Minnesota for allegedly “assaulting” federal agents.

Attorney General Pam Bondi alleged in an X post that the Minnesota rioters had actively “been resisting and impeding our federal law enforcement agents.” She added that the DOJ expects “more arrests to come.”

In a separate X post on Wednesday, Bondi identified the individuals who have been arrested as Christina Rank, Abdikadir Noor, Madeline Tschida, Nitzana Flores, Helicity Borowska, Quentin Williams, William Vermie, Paul Johnson, Gillian Etherington, Joshua Doyle, Kirubele Adbebe, Margaret Sager, Ilan Wilson-Soler, Nasra Ahmed, Alice Valentine and Matrim Charlebois.

“I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: NOTHING will stop President Trump and this Department of Justice from enforcing the law,” Bondi wrote in the X post.

The DOJ did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.

There have been multiple recent reports of federal immigration agents clashing with violent anti-deportation protests in Minnesota amid ICE’s ongoing enforcement surge in the state. Federal agents fatally shot protesters Renee Good on Jan. 7and Alex Pretti on Saturday during scuffles in Minneapolis.

On Friday, activists reportedly held a “sit-in” at the Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport to protest deportation flights occurring amid ICE’s crackdown.
