‘America Has Had Enough’: Trump Claims Mexico Has Been Abusing US Relationship, Calls on Dems to Act

President Donald Trump blasted Mexico for taking advantage of their relationship with the U.S. on Twitter and called on the Democrats to act on addressing the immigration crisis at the southern border.

In a few tweets published Sunday, Trump went after Mexico for being an “abuser of the United States” and threatened to pull back the companies that have moved south of the border through “tariffs” if the Mexican government did not address the growing situation at the border.

“People have been saying for years that we should talk to Mexico. The problem is that Mexico is an ‘abuser’ of the United States, taking but never giving,” tweeted the president. “It has been this way for decades.”

“Either they stop the invasion of our country by drug dealers, cartels, human traffickers, coyotes and illegal immigrants, which they can do very easily,” continued Trump. “Or our many companies and jobs that have been foolishly allowed to move south of the border, will be brought back into the United States through taxation (tariffs).”

“America has had enough!” he added.

In a separate tweet, Trump torched the Democrats for “doing nothing” to find a solution to the border crisis and called on them to work with Republicans to “fix the loopholes” in immigration laws.

Additionally, the president said that the border wall he promised in his 2016 campaign was “moving along quickly despite all the radical liberal Democrat lawsuits.” The president also asked what Democrats were “thinking as our country is invaded by so many people (illegals) and things (drugs) that we do not want.”

Similarly, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders called out Congress for “fail[ing]” to solve the border crisis as well as proclaiming that Mexico could “step up and do more.”

As IJR Red previously reported, the “We Build the Wall” group resumed work on constructing the privately-funded border wall after it was halted by the city of Sun Park, New Mexico, who cited an “incomplete” building application.

Trump has been acting step by step, enduring the obstruction of Democrats and the political resistance of activist courts. He and we have been more than patient. The border has been past crises conditions for a long time. The country is being flooded with illegal aliens, some of which are bad people, hardened criminals with violent intentions. The bottom line is regardless of the intentions of those coming in illegally, the USA must enforce its borders, change its immigration laws to stop the abuse and protect the nation. No nation can maintain its sovereignty and rule of law with open… Read more »

Somehow…basic math tells me that tariffs on Mexico would pay for the border wall in a New York minute, while informing this new Mexican president that initiating BS talk with our President, about the symbolism of the Statue of Liberty equating to globalism, is way out of his understanding! He might want to look into how much social and economic liberty his own people are enjoying and why they are constantly looking for work in the US!!

Democrats could not care less about the porous border and will do nothing to prevent the influx. It’s up to we the people to build the wall. Period.

Democrats should be charged with Obstruction of Justice for failing to protect our Southern Border by not changing immigration laws and allowing Federal Judges to legislate by blocking the President Excutive Orders to protect the citizens of the U.S. and secure our borders.

Dems are thinking of future voters for their party and how best to screw over Donald Trump, plain and simple. The security of the nation is playing second fiddle to their politics. There is simply no other rational explanation for denying there is a crisis when it’s right there in front of their faces, not making any attempts to correct the problems, and actively subverting the attempts that Trump is making to stop the problem. The Dems are literally playing around with the lives of American citizens for the sake of political expediency.

Amusing that Trump considers “Mexico is an ‘abuser’ of the United States, taking but never giving,”” but is perfectly fine with a far worse relationship with Isreal.
