Eric Trump decided to publically weigh in on a marital dispute between Kellyanne Conway and her husband George on Twitter Tuesday, insinuating Geroge’s criticism of President Donald Trump disrespected his wife.
Of all the ugliness in politics, the utter disrespect George Conway shows toward his wife, her career, place of work, and everything she has fought SO hard to achieve, might top them all. @KellyannePolls is great person and frankly his actions are horrible.

Geroge has never publically called out his wife. Instead, most of his criticism is directed at the president and most of it uses legal evidence, as George is a lawyer. He recently published pieces in the New York Times and Washington Post that detail why he thinks the president’s actions are unconstitutional.
Most recently, Geroge implied President Trump was guilty of obstruction of justice for praising Roger Stone for promising not to testify against the president.

But George didn’t respond directly to Eric’s insinuation that he disrespects his wife. Instead, he retweeted some of the harshest criticism on Trump’s tweet from other users, including a tweet that brings up Donald Trump’s alleged affairs with pornstars.
“Wait. Did I miss something?” the harsh tweet from Reza Aslan reads. “Did George Conway pay money to have sex with a porn star right after his wife gave birth?”
How does noting that your father engaged in witness tampering today disrespect Kellyanne Conway? https://t.co/kvwvVB4hcp

While Eric attacked George, his father stayed relatively neutral on the issue. When asked by reporters in November what he thought on Geroge’s criticism, President Trump had a short response.
“He’s trying to get publicity for himself,” he said. “Why don’t you do this: why don’t you ask Kellyanne that question, alright? She might know him better than me. I really don’t know the guy.”
