‘F*** Donald Trump! F*** White People!’: ‘High Risk’ Missing Person Tied Up & Tortured on Facebook Live

Late Tuesday afternoon, police patrolling on Chicago’s West Side were alerted to a disoriented male who appeared to be in need of medical attention. They transported him to a local hospital, where he was treated for a number of injuries.

Once they took him into custody, they identified him as a “high risk missing person” with special needs who had disappeared from nearby Crystal Lake.

That might have been the end of it, but police were later dispatched on a battery call in the same area:

A statement released by the Chicago Police Department reads:

“At 5:26 p.m. officers then responded to a battery at a residence on the 3300 block of W. Lexington where they discovered signs of a struggle and damage to the property and where able [sic] to link this evidence to the disoriented male. Officers later became aware of a social media video depicting a battery of an adult male which is believed to be the same individual.”

The video, which was allegedly live streamed on Facebook as the events took place, is disturbing to watch:

The victim in the video, a white male, is bound with duct tape and tortured: several black males cut his clothing and his hair with a knife, cutting into his scalp as well. They flicked cigarette ashes on him and berated him, while they laughed and ate.

In addition, the suspects can be heard on the video yelling, “f**k Trump!” and “f**k white people!”

The Chicago Police Department has not wasted a moment — they issued a statement Wednesday indicating that they have taken four suspects into custody.

Eddie T. Johnson, Superintendent of Police, spoke at a press conference on Wednesday evening:

“Yesterday, video of a brutal act towards an adult male with mental health challenges made its way onto social media. The images in the video put on display the brazenness of the offenders, who assaulted the victim and then broadcast it for the entire world to see.

Thanks to the outstanding work of eleven district police officers and area north detectives, all four offenders from the video are in police custody and awaiting formal charges.

The victim, who is not a Chicago resident, is currently recovering from the incident.”

He made it clear that the Chicago police would not stand by while people committed this type of act:

“If you commit an act of violence in the city of Chicago, you will feel the full weight of the Chicago Police Department — and tonight, four individuals have experienced the consequences of their actions.”

Formal charges against the four suspects are still pending.
