Fallen Officer’s Brother Can’t Hold Back Tears After Police Capture Accused Killer and Illegal Immigrant

After a two-day manhunt, police took a suspect into custody for allegedly shooting and killing a California police officer. Now, in the emotional days following, the fallen officer’s brother is speaking out and thanking law enforcement for capturing the suspect, whom authorities say is an illegal immigrant.

As IJR News reported, authorities said 33-year-old Corporal Ronil Singh, a Fiji native who had immigrated to the U.S. to become a police officer, was shot and killed early Wednesday when he was pulling someone over for suspicion of driving under the influence.

The brother of Singh spoke during a press conference after the tragedy, during which he shared his thankfulness for the law enforcement’s capture and sorrow for his loss.

“Ronil Singh was my older brother. Yes, he’s not coming back, but there’s a lot of people out there that misses him and a lot of law enforcement people, that I don’t know, that worked days and nights to make this happen,” Reggie Singh said.

“I’d like to thank you from the bottom of my heart,” he continued. “I wish I could thank all of the law enforcement agencies, Homeland Security, San Fransisco, everyone. I was waiting for this to happen. I’d like to thank you for working day and night to make this happen. Thank you.”

Stanislaus County Sheriff Adam Christianson said the suspect was identified on Thursday and was living in the U.S. illegally, USA Today reported. According to authorities, the suspect claimed to be involved in a criminal gang and is from Mexico.

“This suspect is in our country illegally,” Christianson said. “He doesn’t belong here. He is a criminal.”

The suspect was arrested at a residence in the Lamont Area of Kern County. Additionally, three others were arrested at the residence for aiding and abetting, according to CBS Sacramento. Four others were also arrested for trying to protect the suspected killer.

President Donald Trump vocalized the killing of the California police officer in a tweet on Thursday, using the incident to help push his call for $5 billion in funding for a border wall, a battle with Congressional Democrats that has since caused a partial government shutdown.

“Time to get tough on Border Security,” the president wrote. “Build the Wall!”

“The wall gig” is over. Chief of staff Kelly spill the beans on his way out the door. It was “abandoned months ago.” Kelleyann & Sen. Graham related in separate interviews that “the wall” is simply a metaphor for border security. Sorry, no wall.

What’s needed is to cut any and all future federal funding to CA. Let them withdraw their contributions to the federal coffers. They’ll need it, since they continue to spend far in excess of their revenues.

CA is teetering on bankruptcy. Let’s not interrupt that.

At some point CA will tear itself apart. The Coastal elite vs. the rest of the state. Good.

Moonbeam is a complete waste. Remember that he was a friend and sponsor of Jim Jones. q.v. Jonestown.

What I want to know is what the CA Congress members are going to do. Crickets chirp. FU Boxer, Lieu, Feinstein, Schitt, Lugosi, etc.

You forgot Maxine Waters. I would definitely put that harridan on the list for starting and encouraging violence. The CA Congress will do whatever they believe will hurt or help bring down our president.

Just so I know where you are coming from, you no longer believe in States Rights? You have already abandoned Fiscal responsibility, Personal Responsibility, exclusions to Rule of Law for anyone affiliated with Trump & his campaign—UNLESS they flip, Free Trade & Open markets, and Limited government. Are you certain there still is a Conservative Republican Party?

The wall gig was exposed. But, Trump is still attempting to keep the joke going on twitter. So when you folks keep up the wall chant & the up votes, is it alternate reality or simply attempting to save face? https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2018/dec/30/john-kelly-kellyanne-conway-lindsey-graham-trump-w/
