Twitch streamer and far-left commentator Hasan Piker is calling a journalist a “stalker” for watching his public livestream.
Fox News Digital senior investigations editor Asra Nomani published a story Sunday about a federal inquiry into Piker’s recent trip to communist Cuba, which the streamer called an “intimidation tactic.” When Piker found out Nomani joined his livestream the following day, he said, “Oh my God, this psycho is literally watching the fucking stream, dude.”
“Oh, my lord. Straight up, they got stalkers on the payroll,” Piker added. “They have Fox News senior editors that are now tasked with stalking my fucking stream. Oh my God, I am going to accidentally pee on camera. You guys are going to hear my stream. It’s going to be on Fox News now.”
Piker claimed he got his Cuba trip approved by the Office of Foreign Assets Control, saying “everything we did was cleared by the treasury,” according to the Nomani’s Fox News story.
Federal officials have ordered a subpoena for Piker into whether he violated U.S law and sanctions by visiting Cuba, the outlet reported.
CodePink, a feminist, anti-war organization, and a group Piker is associated with, organized the trip purportedly to provide humanitarian aid to the country, The New York Post reported.
“We did nothing wrong during our March 2026 trip to Cuba,” the group claimed in a statement according to the Post. “On the contrary, we acted as moral US citizens trying to bring some relief to a population being deliberately starved by the cruel policies of our own government,” the outlet reported.
The subpoena will require Piker to provide financial, logistical, and communications details to his trip to communist Cuba, Fox News reported.
