Florida GOP Blames Biden, Crist After Party Office Is Vandalized With Message About 'Fascists'

The Florida Republican Party is pointing fingers at President Joe Biden after a local office was targeted by vandals.

In a tweet, the statewide Republican Party shared a picture of the Seminole County Republican Party building.

Vandals had spray painted, “Eat sh*t fascists” on the windows.

The state party’s caption read, “1. Crist says DeSantis supporters ‘have hate in their heart.'”

It continued, “2: Biden calls Republicans semi-fascist.”

“The results? Dangerous Democrat rhetoric is polarizing our country and inciting criminal behavior,” the party added.

County GOP State Committeeman Jesse Phillips told Fox News, “The intimidation is shameful.”

“Hopefully this is the last of it,” he added.

Phillips also told the outlet that the doors were glued shut.

“We couldn’t get in from the front. We had to break in from the back,” he told Fox.

Last week, Florida Democratic gubernatorial nominee Charlie Crist said supporters of Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) “should stay with him and vote for him” and that he does not want their votes.

“If you have that hate in your heart, keep it there. I want the vote of the people of Florida who care about our state,” Crist said.

Meanwhile, Biden criticized the “extreme MAGA philosophy.”

“It’s not just Trump, it’s the entire philosophy that underpins the — I’m going to say something, it’s like semi-fascism,” he said on Thursday.

The president went on to claim he respects “conservative Republicans” but “I don’t respect these MAGA Republicans.”

Later in the event, Biden claimed, “The MAGA Republicans don’t just threaten our personal rights and economic security. They’re a threat to our very democracy. They refuse to accept the will of the people. They embrace political violence. They don’t believe in democracy.”
