There will be more than one match-up on Super Bowl Sunday.
There the Kansas City Chief and Philadelphia Eagles. Now, viewers have Fox News’ Bret Baier and President Donald Trump in a pregame interview.
The pair will sit down for a pre-taped interview at Mar-a-Lago in Florida that will air during Fox’s Super Bowl LIX pregame show, Axios reported.
Fox has not said how long the interview will be, but did say it will be wide-ranging.
Trump, who just gained back the Oval Office on Jan. 20, has not rested on his laurels since then. He has instituted tariffs, tackled federal grants and has done his best to repeal any policy imposed by President Joe Biden he does not approve of.
Presidents have taken part in pregame interviews with the game’s host network since 2004.
Trump did not participate in 2018 when NBC was the host network.
Biden followed suit in 2023 with Fox News and 2024 with CBS News.
Fox News’ Sean Hannity interviewed Trump in 2020, which was the last time Trump was interviews for a Super Bowl pregame show.
The interview will air at 3 p.m. ET, per Variety.
An expanded version of the interview will be aired Feb. 10 on “Special Report with Bret Baier.”
