On Monday, Fox News announced that Eric Bolling, the host of “The Fox News Specialists,” “Cashin’ In,” and the annual “All-American New Year Special,” has signed a new contract with the company. Terms were not revealed beyond Fox referring to the agreement as a “multiyear contract.”

“Over the past decade I have proudly made Fox News Channel my broadcasting home,” Bolling said in a statement. “I am thrilled that I will continue in my role at FNC and very much look forward to developing many more successful programs for our loyal and patriotic viewership!”

“Eric has cultivated a strong fan base and has become a staple to the Fox News brand,” added Suzanne Scott, the network’s president of programming. “His insight is valued and we are pleased to have him at the network for many more years to come.”

“The Fox News Specialists,” Bolling’s newest show, has been a hit so far — averaging 1.9 million viewers, with 341,000 of those being in the 25-54 demographic. Every weekday at 5 p.m. ET, Bolling and his co-hosts are joined by a rotating pair of guest “specialists” who discuss the day’s news.

The show’s audience has likely been boosted by the relative diversity of the “specialists” themselves. While cable news favorites such as Kellyanne Conway have appeared, so have guests such as pro wrestler Tyrus, best known for his time in WWE as Brodus Clay.
