Graham Says There’s a ‘Common Theme’ of Bias After Evidence Shows FBI Was Warned Against Using Steele Dossier

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) believes new evidence further drives his theory that the FBI’s probe into President Donald Trump was politically biased.

On Thursday, newly released interviews from Justice Department official Bruce Ohr show that the FBI was warned that the dossier produced by British intelligence agent Christopher Steele was faulty. The Steele dossier was used as the bedrock for claims that the Trump campaign was aligned with Russia.

Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign funded Steele’s dossier, and much of the evidence in the report was unfounded.

Still, the report was used by the FBI to obtain FISA warrants that were then used to spy on members of the Trump campaign.

Ohrs interviews revealed that the agency was warned about the potential bias in Steele’s work, but opted to use the evidence anyway to target Trump’s campaign.

During an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity, Graham explained that Ohr’s interview highlights the “common theme” of political bias within the investigation into President Trump’s campaign. 0:26

Watch Graham’s comments:

“This is the tip of the iceberg. I know personally, there’s a lot more out there and the word that keeps coming up is ‘bias.’ The people investigating Clinton wanted her to win and Trump to lose. The people who started the investigation against President Trump wanted him to lose and her to win. The chief source of the FISA warrant was Mr. Steele who hated Trump’s guts. So there’s a common theme here that the investigation of Trump was very biased and the fact that [former FBI Deputy Director Andrew] McCabe has sued is very interesting to me. It gives me a chance as the chairman of the committee to look into whether or not the FBI acted inappropriately towards Mr. McCabe or was it his fault that he got fired? I will look into that.”

Graham also noted that, as chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, he plans to find out if the FBI declined to press charges against Clinton for storing classified emails on her personal server because they wanted her to win the 2016 presidential election.

1. Clinton paid the final fee, but it was the republicans that commissioned the report.
2. Steele’s findings have been largely substantiated, while NONE of it has been dis proven
3. Again (and again and again) it was Papadopoulos’ bragging that started this

General Confusion

“the [Steele] report was used by the FBI to obtain FISA warrants that were then used to spy on members of the Trump campaign” Article The FBI certainly didn’t need the Steele Report to get the first FISA warrant for George Papadopoulos. He blabbed to an Australian diplomat, in a London bar, that he knew that the Russians had dirt on Hillary Clinton. That started the whole ball rolling. The FBI were so concerned with Papadopoulos that they easily convinced a judge to renew his warrant a number of times. Papadopoulos spent 14 days in jail for lying to the… Read more »

It is time the FBI was held accountable!

The days of ‘The Untouchables’, though they were Treasury Agents, have definitely fallen by the wayside.

The FBI was at one time a ethical, non-corruptible organization. However now the world has got smaller and it is acceptable to not to be truthful about ones self and what you talk about and the words that we use to describe one another.

About time!!!!!

Lying, cheating, corrupt Democrats!! The Obama administration was as corrupt as the day is long. Creating a ‘secret society’ within the FBI to obstruct the Trump Presidency before he was even elected. Spying on an opposing political campaign used to be done only in 3rd world countries. The Hillarhoid and the DNC conspiring to rig the primary nomination. Voting corruption used to get corrupt Democrats into the House. Democrats committing campaign funding corruption. It’s all coming out. The Democrats have done it in 2016, 2018 and will attempt it again in 2020.
