Vice President Kamala Harris is facing mockery for her attempt to share an example of a cultural connection between the U.S. and South Korea.
On Thursday, Harris said during an event with South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol, āSouth Korea and the United States⦠also share strong culture and people-to-people ties.ā
She continued, āK-Pop bands ā they top the billboards in the United States, including BTS who I had the great pleasure of meeting⦠I also think of the Emmy award-winning TV shows like āSquid Gameā ā which I will confess Doug and I binge-watched at home over a series of weeks.ā
Harris added, āThese are examples of cultural ties and the intertwined history between our nations.ā
